Description: Chaos script is one of those scripts which use a lot of DLLs, but still have a good look and doesn't look like overuse. The script has a variety of options, most of which are in VERY nice dialogs. Upon loading the script, i saw what i expected to -- a custom treeview switchbar combined with notify list, statusbar and a custom toolbar. Unlike other scripts, this script echoes the "Tip of the day" on loading it. I decided to check out the options after connecting to a server, and when i clicked on the menubar, i didn't expect to see as much options as I did.

Upon loading the script, i saw what i expected to -- a custom treeview switchbar combined with notify list, statusbar and a custom toolbar. Unlike other scripts, this script echoes the "Tip of the day" on loading it. I decided to check out the options after connecting to a server, and when i clicked on the menubar, i didn't expect to see as much options as I did.
The first thing to start with was the General settings dialog, this dialog helps you configure things like the titlebar, toolbar, side panel(the switchbar) and statusbar. I really liked all these things because instead of having them auto set for you, this script lets you set if you want the options or not. The statusbar category helps you configure the things you want to appear in the statusbar cells, but i was disappointed, it didn't offer a wide range of options, just the normal things like IP address, active window and such. Playing sounds and setting hotkeys can be done with the same dialog.
Next comes the log manager, the log manager has a very clean dialog through which logs can be seen.It lists your logs alphabetically. There's an option that when enabled, erases all your logs every week, on a day that you choose. The script contains a nice collection of nice themes made by the author so as to use different themes as you like.
If i were to describe each and every addon present, it'd take forever. The only thing that disappointed me about this script was the switchbar/statusbar/toolbar, I rather hoped to see something original rather than something which we see everyday through screenshots. A very noticeable bug is the one in the script central which shows the HTML code in certain tabs, even the bug reports tab is buggy. All in all, the script has a wide range of options to configure from, definitely a good download for people who're looking for fully customized scripts. Some might find it MDX-bloated/overused, but not all.
